The reason that the iRacing simulation is unable to close successfully and save any changes you've made is due to a conflict with the latest version (2022.1.3492) of Logitech G HUB software, specifically Trueforce.

Our developers are working with Logitech to resolve this problem but in the meantime here is the workaround;

1. Locate 'iRacing.com Simulator' in your Task Manager and End Task
2. Open & Edit the app.ini file located in your Documents/iRacing folder and go to the 'trueForceEnabled=1' setting and change the value from 1 to 0
3.  Save those changes
